Buddy Holly and his sister Piggy Sue are bonded siblings who were losing their family of 3.5 years. Originally purchased as "mini/micro" potbelly pigs, they quickly out grew original expectations and currently weigh in at approximately 150 and 180 lbs. There is no such things as a mini, micro, or teacup breed of pig. Thankfully though, their family did reach out to find them sanctuary with a local pig rescue and we were contacted to help with their care and to transfer them to their new home.
After 10 months, Buddy Holly and Piggy Sue, along with two younger babies needed to find more permanent housing due to circumstances out of their control.. We were happy to be a part of their next chapter again, transporting them safely to their final home at Central Texas Pig Rescue (https://www.centraltexaspigs.org/). They will live the rest of their lives as pigs should!
