Greta was rescued after living her entire life as part of a local dairy farm. She arrived with bilateral pneumonia, double eye infections, numerous internal parasites, was extremely underweight, and was obviously engorged and suffering by over 35+ lbs of udder weight. We had to focused on her infections first, so she would be healthy and strong enough for a life changing double mastectomy. After 2 months of rehbilitaton, her surgical procedure was booked and took several hours but was a success. Were so grateful for Dr. Wolf and Dr. Tolmie for taking such incredible care of Greta.
We hope for nothing more than for her to live a wonderful long and happy life here, free of her burden of having to be a milk producer for a farm, losing her babies every year, and able to run and frolic with her new family.
