Otto arrived late one Saturday night after he was found by good samaritans. His leg badly broken and with his umbilical cord still attached he was very much at risk of not surviving. We immediately sought out medical assistance for his leg and began round the clock feedings. Over the course of six weeks, his break needed to be reset three times but he slowly began the process of healing with a callous forming around the bone clearing him of needing any additional surgery or pins.
Four days after his arrival, we luckily located his mother, Brooke, and negotiated for her life. Reunited, they will live together for the rest of their lives.
